Do you love to learn? Do you have curious child within you?
If yes, then I have something interesting to share about learning styles and I hope you’ll enjoy learning it!
You must have seen people; children and adults around you who wish to know how to learn. You may find them intellectual, sporty, experimental, artistic, music freaks, nerds, geeks and… need I go on? But do you know that the personality of the individual tells us a lot about their individual learning style?
The ability to understand and assimilate information or knowledge differs from person to person and there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to learning. But there are seven basic learning styles that are commonly used in professional training, schools, collages and also at a personal level:
- Visual (spatial)
- Aural (auditory-musical
- Verbal (linguistic)
- Physical (kinesthetic)
- Logical (mathematical)
- Social (interpersonal)
- Solitary (intrapersonal)
Your unique learning style can be a combination of any number of the above seven and if you’re really lucky, combines all seven styles. That means you can learn in any situation and in any manner the information is presented to you.
